The Rest of the Night!!

*He drove to the rendezvous point to drop the girl off. As he pulled in and turned the car off he heard her move in the backseat and sit up. "Hello little one, do not be afraid, no one is going to hurt you." He said as she looked at him with fear filling her eyes. "Are you feeling ok?" he asked.

Brya nodded her head at him, but she was feeling very afraid, she was in a dark car and a strange country and was not sure what was going on. She still felt groggy from whatever he used to put her to sleep. His accent was so strong it was hard to understand what he was saying.

Two guys came out of the RV parked in front of them and came to each side of the car. The guy on the driver side stopped to talk to the guy who took her from her bed. The other one opened the back door and reached in to grab Brya. She pulled away back into the corner of the backseat, he started yelling at her, calling her a half breed, grabbing for her with ruff hands and the other two both gave him harsh words. Then the guy who took her turned around in his seat and looked at her. "You are going to go with these two, they are not going to hurt you, just be a good girl and it will all work out. Ok?" He looked at her with soft eyes.

Brya nodded her head again and got out of the car, wrapped in her blanket and stood by the nicer guy at the drivers’ door. She would have tried to run if she was not in her little nightgown with no slippers or shoes at all on her feet. She knew it would be worthless to try and would just make the men mad.

The guy she was standing by reached over and put his arm around Brya's shoulders, "Come Little One" he spoke softly and picked her up to carry her to the RV. Brya looked up and saw his smile as he looked down at her. "It is going to be ok sweetie." His accent was hard to hear around, but she got the drift of what he was saying.

They put her in the back of the RV; she lay on the bed and started silently crying. Brya could not believe how calm she felt, afraid too, but not in a panic, she knew that her father would get her, she would be ok. The mean guy had called her a half breed, did he know she was half vampire, it sure sounded like it. Brya felt the RV start and then drive away, where were they taking her, and how was her father was supposed to find her when they were moving again. If they keep her in this, it will be hard to track down because they could move any time. A little panic rose up, but Brya worked to calm down and stop crying.

She wondered if she could pull off some of her strength from being half a vampire to help her get away. The scary part was, she was in a different country and not sure where to go if she did make it out alive.*

*Chandler walked into the house and immediately knew something was wrong. Not sure what it was he checked doors, everything was locked up and the house was quiet. He could hear snoring and figured it was just his senses being raised with Brya here. No there was something wrong, he quietly walked up the stairs and down the hall to Brya’s room, when he opened the door he looked in expecting to see her curled up in her bed like all the other nights he checked on her.

Brya’s bed was empty, he jumped in the room and ran to the bed, she was not there, he looked in her bathroom and she was not in there either, that is when he noticed that her window screen had been cut and she was gone. How long had they been gone? Where and who would have taken her.

Chandler noticed the note on the bed then. He picked it up and read it.

‘Chandler, I see you are trying to have a life again, I told you when your wife died that you would never know real love again, and yet you have tried to deny my wishes and form a relationship with your daughter. So I had to take your daughter away from you as you took mine from me. Do not even bother to look for her, she will be raised as a vampire as she should be, you will never know her again.

Happy Hunting,

D. Sirus

Chandler let out a scream that woke the neighbor’s two houses away and shook his whole house. The butler and two maids came out of their rooms and felt horrible when they found out Miss Brya was missing. No one had heard a thing. Chandler was sick and headed out to see if he could catch a scent or find some clue to where she had been taken. He was a vampire after all; he should be able to find her quickly. Yet he was dealing with a mean vampire with a grudge, his daughter was a half vampire and was killed trying to save Chandler several years ago. D. had blamed Chandler for her death, she and Brya’s mom were the best of friends, they were both gone and now so was Brya. *
