Christmas Baking with Cousins!!

While the girls were in the livingroom decorating the tree, Kimmy, Kaylee and I decided to bake some gingerbread men so that we could get it all out and decorate them. We thought that would be so much fun. I have not been part of Christmas baking in a couple years, Sarafina is the one who is normally in the kitchen all the time. She loves baking.

 

 

 

Kimmy and I were in the kitchen mixing up the gingerbread to make little men. We were having fun, I looked up and Kimmy was wearing both mittens to turn the stove on to preheat.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

Kaylee was sitting at the table with the cooling racks waiting to sneak little crumbs off the little men while they were cooling. Sneaky little begger.









We started baking the cute little men, they were turning out great, it was exciting to get them baked and cooling so that we could start decorating them into little men.











Kimmy was having fun with her hot pads taking things out of the oven as they finished, and we did not burn any of them this time.











We got the finished ones out of the oven and back to the baking table. We had so much fun together.















Kaylee got her taste testing done with them as they cooled, she was proud of us for not burning any of the cookies.












While we were not paying a lot of attention the theif Kyle came through and grabbed one of the little men. Score!!!!
